Oppo's iPhone 6s-Lookalike R9 and R9 Plus smartphones with 16MP front camera to launch in India on April 5

The Oppo R9 features a 5.5-inch 1080p display with 77.68 % screen-to-body ratio that gives it an almost bezel-less outlook. On the other hand, the Oppo R9 Plus comes with similar specs, but it features a 6-inch 1080p display, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 (MSM8976) processor, a 16-megapixel rear and front camera with Sony IMX298 sensor.
Oppo recently launched two smartphones in China, the Oppo R9 and R9 Plus. The company is expected to announce the R9 Plus along with the R9.

Both the smartphones are equipped with 16-megapixel front-facing cameras. Going by the outlook, both the devices bear a stark resemblance with the Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. This is not the first time that Oppo's design looks like a clear rip-off from Apple's iPhone, the Oppo R7 too had the similar design as the Apple iPhone 6.
